About Elevate Wellbeing Group

Elevating young people across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, helping them build resilience, regulate their emotions, and confidently re-engage with their futures

Our Mission in Alternative Provision

Elevate Wellbeing Group was founded with a clear, uncompromising mission: To provide genuine, wrap-around support for young people who have disengaged from mainstream education or find traditional clinical settings overwhelming.

We believe that every behavior is a form of communication. Rather than focusing purely on academic targets, we focus on the human being. By combining active, community-based mentoring with trauma-informed psychological principles, we create a safe space for young people to drop their defenses, process their challenges, and rebuild their confidence from the ground up.

A Safe, Person-Centred Space

At Elevate Wellbeing Group, everything we do is built around the young person. We believe in a genuinely person-centred approach—meeting each student exactly where they are, without judgment, and working entirely at their pace.

While our mentoring is guided by a deep understanding of trauma and therapeutic practices, our first priority is always building a warm, trusting relationship. Safety is at the absolute heart of this. With a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead overseeing our work, families and schools can feel completely reassured that every young person is supported in a secure, caring environment.

We aren't here just to supervise; we are here to walk alongside young people, helping them understand their feelings, find their voice, and naturally grow their independence.

Trauma-Informed

We look beyond the surface behavior to understand the root causes of disengagement, ensuring every interaction is rooted in empathy and psychological safety.

Relational Consistency

Trust takes time. We provide reliable, unwavering support, ensuring young people have a consistent adult role model they can genuinely depend on.

Community-Based

Community-Based: We remove the pressure of formal environments. Our interventions happen in the community, using physical activity and real-world environments to foster natural conversations

The Pillars of Our Practice

Making a Difference in Our Community

"Ben has this really natural way of making you feel comfortable, and you can honestly talk to him about anything. He’s one of those rare people who actually cares about the guys he works with. When I was at my absolute lowest—struggling with my physical and mental health to the point where I couldn't see a way forward and was ready to give up—Ben never gave up on me. He stayed positive, helped me see the good things in life again, and encouraged me to keep going. He even stepped up to cook for me and make sure I had meals for the rest of the week when I couldn't do it myself. He always goes out of his way for people. Knowing that Christmas is a really tough time of year for me, he completely surprised me with Boxing Day tickets to go watch my favourite football team. Having someone in your corner like that makes a massive difference."
